Timothy Keller speaks at Wheaton College (near Chicago) to a student body on the topic of individual identity. Using the illustration of sheep from John 10 and the concept of Jesus as the Shepherd King, Keller speaks about the difference between our current culture and its inability to provide people with self worth and confidence in their value, as compared to the received worth and value given to us by Jesus. Keller compels us to realize that we make choices, based on the current value system our own culture offers, to express our self worth and significance. Yet, there’s an alternative “system” that provides every culture a divine choice to express self worth and confidence in our value. (36:45 in length).
